I am getting ready to go to a couple of classes to learn more about Surface Texturing Techniques and Cold Connections.
Surface Texturing is a fairly self explanatory term - ways of making
textures on a surface - in this case, that surface most likely being a
sheet metal such as silver or copper. I look forward to seeing what
we'll cover in class, and will post pictures as soon as they are
available.
Cold Connections - this term refers to methods of connecting pieces and
components without soldering them, and probably includes the use of jump
rings, rivets, hinges, and maybe some other things I haven't heard of
yet. Again, I will post pics as soon as they are available.
...And be on the lookout for some interesting new pieces in the coming weeks!
